hey guys i am just wondering what is the better of decks between these 2. the Panasonic CQ-DF602U or the Kenwood KDC-422. i want a real nice cd player for my 89 so i narrowed it down to one of these. which one is a better name, and which one looks better, if both brands suck, what brands do you perfer? thanks

I take it you are looking for a flashy deck for not alot of money? If so then these are probably pretty good. I would go for the Kenwood out of the two.
The Alpine CDA-9807 plays MP3s, has 3 preamp outputs, and its an ALPINE. And it only costs $225. That would be my choice with the amount you are looking at spending.

If it was my choice, I would go with the Kenwood. Never had much experience with panasonic, however, you an always count on Kenwood to make a quality product.

if you want a good deck for cheap, crutchfield has the JVC SH909 on sale ($100-150 off) for only $240. awesome deal and you wont find anything that can touch it in this price range. they did the same deal with a Clarion last year. thats what you get for waiting til the next year; last year's decks for too cheap.

I have that Kenwood in my car now...Its pretty good ..gotta love the mp3 play back!

 

awesome i just ordered an even better one. i ordered the kenwood kdc-mpv622. it was 265 from best buy. how does the mp3 stuff work?

 

just record a regular DATA cd with your computer and puy only mp3 and WMA files on to the disk, you can sort them into folders then record the cd and pop it in the player... wala...endless hours of music!
