Xtreme Sound- any good?
well the initail excitement from getting my new bird has died down a bit and now its time to get to buisness and upgrade. my 350 is on the stand waiting for me to build it but thats my winter project. as for now im wanting to get a head unit. i saw this one at wally world for like 80$. its something called "xtreme sound". never heard of it. im not planning on subs or anything radical, i just want a nice cd player and maybe some 6x9s. will this work? any ideas? thanks

lets put it this way, the only things i will buy from walmart's car audio section is their wiring harnesses, amp wiring kits, and headunit mounting kits. $25 for a 4ga kit, heck yeah i'm buying em. have 1 or 2 extra around here just because i can. just gotta figure out what to use all my 4ga on.... stay away from anything else unless you need some cheapo speakers to put in your car before you sell it ($20/pair aint bad for cheap stock replacement)

hehe, that 4 gauge is my "little secret" when i do installs, normally 4 gauge is at least 1.50 a foot, that little thing comes with a distribution block, fuse holder, and 2 pair of rcas, they are crappy rcas, but they work.
now i dont understand why they dont give you a couple of feet of 4 gauge for a ground though.
