is alpine good?

I'm looking to replace the factory stuff with new speakers and a HU. Would all alpine be a good choice or is there something better?

Alpine is real good. I would say that their decks are better than their speakers though. I would go with an alpine deck and infinity kappa speakers. Either way you will not be sorry.

Alpine is one of the best. They make great subs and speakers, but their head units are better. I'm personally into Kenwood. Basically all I have to do is get to those 4x6's in the dash and I'll have a system consisting of all Kenwood products.

-Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X559 CD Receiver
-Kenwood 10" Tornado Subs (x2)
-Kenwood KAC-829 600 watt amp
-Alpine Alarm System with
Keyless Entry

I have two alpine amps and one finally went out on me. I have had them for 10yrs. one of them is still going strong. I have never had a deck or speakers though.

I have a Alpine cda-7893 and i love it. It has been a great head unit. I have hardly ever heard of a "bad" alpine product.

Alpine makes some of the better headunits, but I wouldn't go all one brand unless your being sponsored. There are alot better speaker brands out there.

Apline. Great features. The CD play runs flawlessly. I also like the 1.5 din, which makes the installation look a bit more factory.
