Double 12" Bandpass hatch box?
Anyone have pictures or plans for one in our cars?
If not, my idea was to have the speakers sit inside the hatch, both facing towards the center. I'll try to make a picture to better show what i'm trying to say. My friend built a box like this between his bucket seats in his f-150, and it bumps HARD.

IMO there is not enough room in the hatch to build one properly. you might be able to do 2 10s or 8s or 1 12.

Most ported boxes will need atleast 2.5-4 cuft of space for port and box tuned roughly to 32-35 htz and atleast 20 sq" of port. This is for one 12" speaker. Yes you could build a band pass that will fit 2 12s in the hatch but unless you make a wall of it your going to have a very narrow and high band of sound.

I built a bandpass for two 10's... Hits 140 DB's +... moves a 50 pound weight across the trunk..

That's a nice bandpass. Probably one of the only pics I think I've seen of one in a third gen. I've been searching for almost 3yrs now for plans, a cut-sheet or dimensions for a 3rd gen 4th order bandpass for 2 10s...you wouldn't happen to still have any blueprints or dimensions for it that you could share?
