4 gauge from battery to Lightning Audio 100 amp breaker (under hood)
4 gauge from breaker to Streetwires fused dist block
8 gauge from dist block to amps' positive
8 gauge from amps' negative to frame
All power run down driver's side of car (my Firebird has battery on driver's side)
All RCA patch cords run down center of car
All speaker wire run down passenger side of car
When needed, all wires cross at 90 degree angles (perpendicular, making a cross-shape) to prevent introduction of noise

When I was looking for a spot to run the power wire through the firewall on my GTA, I wanted an existing hole. I looked around and found a nice sized hole already with a rubber grommet in it slightly above where the steering column goes through. It is slightly toward the passenger side. I pulled out the grommet and drilled a hole in it so I could pass the power wire through it. It is about 1" in diameter so it is fairly easy to spot with a flashlight. Easiest wire I ever had to run. Just push it through from the engine side and you should see it pop out above the pedals somewhere.
