alpine 4 x 6

Just got some alpine 4 x 6 (SPS-460A) and I LOVE THEM! for 25 watts rms, it for sure has all the highs from the tweeter I could ask forr (well, could ask for alot, but it makes me happy.)

Does anyone else have these? If so, how do you like em?

I had the SPS-4629 4"x 6" in my formula. They worked great for 2 years+. Then my cones finally sun rotted out. They developed grid lines from the speaker vents blocking out sun light. They eventually just crumbled and broke like an egg shell. I replaced them with Memphis 4x6s I'm very happy with them.

I've had some of those 4x6's hooked up in my car(s) for over 2 years now, still sound great.

40 feet of new 18 gauge speaker wire = $3.98 at wal-mart
proper connections if you don't have a friend that don't have a slew of them = $5.00

time n labor = 10 mins, if that.

But your factory wires should be plentyful, not like your running subs, just your reciever pushing them.

And i heard about the alpines cracking =[
