the jbl is a good solid amp at a great price...audiobahn is flashy garbage..all show...visonik ive heard mixxed opions...
I say go with the jbl its a proven performer, its a simple amp and low on features but you cant have everything...theyre known to be underated to, so they put out a bit more than the power at which they are rated

Audiobahn is WAY better than jbl. Anyone who can not clearly hear the differnce is smoking crack or deaf.

yeah, someone's got their stuff backwards. JBLs are one of the best no-nonsense, inexpensive, powerhouse amps out right now. audiobahn is nothing more than a fancy package.

JBL stuff rocks... I have (2) 1200.1 JBLs for my subs. Nice thing about those BP's is that they put of exact same watts at 2 ohms as they do a 1 ohm.
Few things I've heard about JBLs they can get hot if you don't give them enough air flow. I've heard of them blowing fuses (probably people running them hot and using to small of wiring).
One drawback is they don't have a sub sonic bass filter... so you can't tweak them for a ported box. They work great in sealed boxes though.

You can get a 600.1 for around 180 bucks or so. The 1200.1 have been bench tested to put out almost 1400 watts before.
But just as napalmdemos says it all comes back to what you personally like.

visonik is crap. you know how i know? i am a visonik retailer.
it's junk, the JBL amp *i cant stand JBL* is the best of your three choices.
audiobahn always sounds horrible, IMO. JBL sounds bad too, but makes great power for the $$$.
visonik is great if you want it to sit on a shelf or hold a door open.

Do you think it would work for holding up our hatch when the shocks wear out? This way if I bought one I could kill 2 birds with one stone. (lol)

i hear more positive feedback and more positive reviews on the jbls than i've ever heard about the audiobahns. the audiobahns are all show, no go. jbl puts out more than they're rated at and are hard to beat for their price. sorry i dont buy my amps for their flames and chrome.
