How many 3rdgen's came with stock/factory Power antenna's? I dont think i have ever seen one with a stock power antenna. I know the connector for it is there on my car but all i have seen is the black mast ones.

BTW do antenna's go bad? My car's radio recption sucks i can turn it on and all i get is static. Then i will drive and the station will kinda come in. If i put a new antenna on do you think this will fix the problem? All the connectons are fine on the antenna and stereo and it has done this with other headunits. As well

 

my iroc has stock power antenna, as well as a friend of mine and we both have the "performance sound" package option not sure if that had anything to do with it

 

my 83 z had one till it got smased in a wreck and replaced with a straight one
