How does this sound?

I don't know too much about car audio so if the CAP or AMPs are too much let me know what would be better. I am sticking with Pioneer though I listen to metal (rap sometimes), so I just want one sub to enhance the bass. I don't want to be deaf

Absolute CAPD100 1.0 Farad Digital Power Capacitor $79.00

Pioneer Premier DEH-P650 CD Receiver with OEL Display $219.00

Pioneer GM-X572 75W x 2 Car Amplifier $119.00 (Subwoofer)

Pioneer GM-X574 50W x 4 Car Amplifier $199.00 (Front/Rear Speakers)

Absolute KIT800 Amp Kit 4 GAUGE 1600W $99.98 (2 Kits)

Pioneer TS-A6990R 6" x 9" 5-Way Speaker $99.00

Pioneer Premier TS-W1041C 10" Single Voice Coil Subwoofer $99.00

Total: $913.98

i would forget about a cap. what you are wanting to do wont require one. i have two alpine type rs with two 760 watt amps and i dont need a cap let alone you. secondly i wouldnt power the fronts and rears unless you do like a component speaker setup.

There are better products to be had, but if you really want to go all Pioneer, that should make a nice set-up. Good luck with it.

I think amp kitts are wayyyyyyyyy over priced for what you get. and dont get a cap. If you have any problems upgrade your batt alt ground wire first.

Ok guys thanks. Buth I have one more question the car already has a stereo in it cause it was my best friends car so I pretty much showed him what to get for the money he had. My question is should I bother with the Premier head unit because the is already a Pioneer DEH-5500 head unit in there (i'm pretty sure it is a 5500, it's a 50x4). Also the car already has the TSA-4667 4x6 speakers in the front, and TSA-6980R speakers in the rear. Well anyways here is the revised list with the head unit. I also just feel safer using a capacitor unless someone thinks it will actually cause more drain I'm def getting one. Anything to help the wek charging system in a third gen helps. Beside the car already has an underdrive crand and water pump pulley and that drain noticeably.

Pioneer Premier DEH-P650 CD Receiver with OEL Display $219.00

Pioneer GM-X572 75W x 2 Car Amplifier $119.00 (Subwoofer)

Absolute KIT800 Amp Kit 4 GAUGE 1600W $49.99

Also any enclosure ideas would be nice. I want a clean look in the dip in the cargo area.
Oh does anyone have any enclosure ideas I want it to look clean.
Pioneer TS-A6990R 6" x 9" 5-Way Speaker $99.00

Pioneer Premier TS-W1241C 12" Singel Voice Coil Subwoofer $129.00

Absolute CAPD100 1.0 Farad Digital Power Capacitor $79.00

no amp kit, none nada not worth it. you can get 4 ga wire from homedepot for like 20 cents a foot. Also, your running a what.,150 watt amp? you dont need 4 ga wire!homedepot even sell rca wires if you want to get them their. What else does the amp kit have in it? the thin 16 ga turn on wire? its not worth it.You can get a fuse and the holder from pepboys etc. as said b4 6x9s suck *** compaired to components. And you dont need a cap with that small amp. but if you want to waiste your money go ahead its yours.

So i should have absolutely no drain on the alternator form this system. I was under the impression that Caps stopped or at least dramatically reduce voltage loss from the alternator. I really just cannot afford to loose anymore the car is almost always below 12 volt as it is right now.

upgrade your underhood wires, also, a cap is basically a battery that discarges very fast to help with the bass drain. It also has to be recharged SO it could end up being an extra strain on your charging system. Im running two amps at 700 watts tottal between them, i had a head light drain problem, i was gonna get a cap tell someone on here sugjested i upgrade the wires , since i did that my cars been fine.

Yeah I think I might just upgrade the wires. Hell I'll probably save $60.

Instead of running all over town trying to build an amp kit, go to Wal-Mart. You can get a 4 gauge amp kit with everything you need for about $25. You might as well wire your car with 4 gauge now incase you ever decide to upgrade to a higher wattage amp later. The juice will also flow much better.
