my vote goes with the brahma cause you can get excellent SPL with the SQ that comes with the adire name. Two shivas would require a fairly large box, but the brahma does not. With a smaller box you can be much more creative with the install.

I havent worked with ED products so i cant comment on them really...but you wont be disappointed with a single brahma

what size were you looking at getting?

I just installed 2 shivas in my firebird and they are awesome. I have them powered by a tsunami DB1100, and it gets much louder than i need it. My only complaint about the shivas is that they have dual 8ohm coils instead of 4ohm or 2ohm so with both subs I can only get a 2ohm setup. It's alright but my amp will push 1100 watts @ 1 ohm and right now it's only at 325 watts RMS per sub. The brahma on the other hand has dual 2ohm so you can get it down to 1ohm if you need. As far as eDesign, my friend has the 12A and he likes it. All four are good choices, just match up your amp with your subs, whether max power at 1 or 2 ohms.

I picked the 12A but its because i've had one and have had only limited use with brahmas. IMO either one would be a very good choice, both aimed at the same things in different ways and both do a very good job of acheiving it. I would not use the shivias due to box size problems. I'm pretty sure those subs like a tad bigger or even ported boxes

yeah i thought the 2 shivas would need considerably more box size than the the other choices, though im not certain, and while both the bramha and the e12a are awesome subs..i decided to vote for the 12o's due to the more surface area

well for a new one the cheapest they sell for is for what they are marked for on the adire site... Ive talked to a few authorized dealers and they sell for the same price as on the site..or at least they did when i talked to them

I got my shivas from Acoustic Visions because they have free shipping on Aidre subs. Here's the link to the brahmas there.
http://www.acoustic-visions.com/~aco.../adire_brahma/. You may find Brahma Mark I series on clearance at other sites, but I believe they have been sold out. You can also try http://www.speedsound.com/caraudio.a...ific=jmroqokrq, they have brahmas without the weird image on them.
