Finally got some pics...
I just now got around to getting some pics of my "in progress" interior, with the custom kick panels and door pods, they contain a set of Boston Pro 6.5 3-way components.
hmm...didn't work....

i made a new one from treated 1/8" plywood, and attached the black plactic rail to the top of it, then recovered it all so that you can't see the rail. But it was my 1st time working with tweed, and it doesn't stretch as well as the vinyl and cloth i'm used too, it was a HUGE pain streching it to fit around the BOSTON lettering on the lower door pod.

rather reasonable really. Just used the stock fiberboard doorpanels as a template for the new ones, attatched the plastic piece at the top. Then removed the window scraper/weatherstripping from the top edge, then covered the panel (made one mistake: I put thin foam under the grey tweed, like on the headliner. glue was uneven, made it look like crap). You could cut factory type slots for the panel clips, not that hard, but i just let the speaker pod hold it on, works good. I have just enough clearance behind the 6.5 driver in the door and the window motor. I also laser-aligned the tweeters in the kick panels to ensure that they were aimed correctly (under the dash, over the center console). I'll try to take some more pics, as i am goin to take them out, as i will try to sell them to scrape up the cash for a 4th gen dash.
