Will this work...?

i have a dual 4 ohm sub and a 2 channel amp if i put the + and - from each channel to the + and -'s of the sub, will it work? Or is this a no no?

Why are you using an amp like that instead of a mono amp anyways?

its a soundstream rubicon 1000-2 amp, i got it cheap and if i bridge it with 2 subs it puts out decent power. im trying to put all 1000 watts into one sub but it would have to be 2 ohm to do that...

just wanted to check

well just put pos to pos on sub and neg to neg on sub , and you will achieve a 2 ohm load which will be fine for a mono application..
