I actually bought my box from the same guy. The box fits in my 91 bird, the boxes are made very well and it is MDF.

This box was like 67 pounds, once I put my 2-12 inch AW121T audiobahns in it took two people to get it in the hatch.

It sits up higher than the hump by 3-4 inches.

I was actually impressed by the box, very clean, and the shipping was fast I had it in four days. I would have built my own but I cant draw a straight line let alone cut a straight line(lol)

So you admit it! You dont know how to use a tape measure! This explains why you think your 8's are 12's!!!!

JUST KIDDING lmao, well your right not everyone can built a box. I saw a pic of one guys atempt to make one, it was a joke! Wood ontop of wood with wire screen and glue and what looked to be tar also! lol.
So i guess those boxes are a good alternative for those of you who cant drawl or cut straight.

there is a fellow on ebay who makes some damn good boxes. my buddy has had like 3 of his designs. keeps changing his mind on how he wants it to sit. hes got "stelth" boxes out now for the 4th gen so you can still put your tops in the holders and have a sub back there too. he even makes a piece so you can mount ams on the plastic below the hatch motor. i think thats very smart since the sun beats down on the hatch area where everyone mounts theres. and theves cant see them when they are down that low....

Yep, and it sounds wicked. I dont understand why people knock Volfenhag. I now have to get a good amp for my mids and highs to keep up with the subs because the gain is all the way down and it drowns out the rest.

Best amp for 100 bucks in my opinion.

People knock EVERYTHING! One person will say so and so amp or sub is good and the next will say this one is better and it goes on and on forever. Im with you on the $100's . Some people dont wanna spend a ton of $ on amps and Subs. I found the best thing to do is look around and se for yourself because asking people is just gonna get you that persons opinion based on what they have in their car. Half the people who rag on so and so brand probably havnt even heard it themselves they are just going on what someone told them.

I bought a sub box off of ebay once... and I'll never do that again. It wasn't sealed (I had to caulk the whole thing) and it just felt cheap. I don't know about that guy though, maybe someone is finally making some good stuff.

I know what you mean about those subs weighing a ton, but I could put it in myself

Don't mind the hole in the middle, I tried porting the box and it sounded like ***... so I had to reglue the hole and recarpet it.
