Alternative to Dynamat?
I saw in this section someone found an alternative to dynamat that you are able to buy at Home Depot. Now I went to Home Depot, and asked for it, and no one knew what I was talking about. So I just get home, and I looked for the other post about it, and now I can't find it. Can someone help me with this, like whats the name of it, product number if possible, other places to get it, price, etc...

Found it at lowes for $12 a 25' by 6" roll. The name brand of it is peel and seal.
It was by the roofing tar and patch, it was in a pretty small display type box so look hard, maybe only 12 rolls out there total.
Here is a thread with some pics of it.

Thanks auxout, helped out a lot, i thought it was black in color, but the pics also helped. How much of your car did you do, and does it way it down a lot? Also. how many rolls did it take to do the trunk, because I plan on doing that, inside doors and sail panels, and maybe even the floor since I have new carpet going in. How much would you suggest to do?

The sticky side is black. It's not real heavy, worth the tradeoff I think. In those pics I was up to 2 rolls, I bought 3 more I think that should probably finish it if not I'll be pretty close.

How did the stuff work out
I went to Home Depot to look for it and they had no idea what I was talking about. Went to Lowe's and they took me right to it.
It looks a little thin
Curious on how well it works. I was going to but it on the back of my interior panels before they go back in. Will work great for that but curious on how works under the carpet

I doesn't need to be thick.
It deadens the noise by sticking directly onto the metal and muffling vibrations.

No, I didn't get it in my car yet. I am still working on getting it stripped so it can get into the paint shop! If anyone else has done it and has pics, lets see them!
