Where to put shaved antenna

Where to put shaved antenna

I shaved my atenna and put it in filler panel but it gets crappy reception, would it sound better if i put it under the dash?

Also how do i get the piece that covers most of the bottom of i took off the motor but cant get that big *** peice off could i just cut it?

translate the bottom part better...

get a better remote mount antenna. i would reuse the old one. nor would i put it under te dash

Its the big piece on the bottom 1/4 of the atenna and has i hole in the side for the contection.

i would reuse the old one. nor would i put it under te dash
you would or you wouldnt

my bad wouldnt... they sell high powered antennas that get better reception

best option is to put a non powered antenna up under the dash period.

wouldnt teh electronics in and under the dash interfere with reception?? thats why i said wouldn't

probably....


i've had my antenna shaved for 5 years now, i've ran everything under the sun from the radio shack 9.99 special to the $80 dakota digital untenna. i finally decided to do something cheap taht worked better then all the other options and i already had the parts. just giving suggestions, you do as you please.

try putting it in the sprae tire well or the other storage compartment across from it... or under teh bumper of the car...
