question about sub boxes

I like the sub boxes that you guys have put in the rear well. The only question is, what do you do with the T-tops? I have a pair of 10" subs i wanna put back there, but I don't wanna give up my T-Top storage. Any sugesstions?

Nah, some people just set them on the back seat.

Some people tailor their boxes so that they can still "strap them in".

I personally like this alternative (this is my fourth-gen), if someone adapted this idea for thirdgens it would probably be a good seller. The t-tops fit in that notch that you see cut out in the front of the box.

I used to wrap my roofs in a blanket then put them on my back seat or in the rear deck area... but now that I finally have a bag.. here is what I have done..

Thanks man, I had the guy from SubThump.com build it, he did an awesome job and built it to specs, it's well worth the money. I've been very happy with it and it's high quality.

Just remeber that if you must have your tops in the car when u have em off that if you dont find a way to secure them real tight or keep em separated thos things are probably gonna add a lot to the 100 or so rattles you will probably have anyways. Depending on how much room you have back there your might be abble to fabricate some kind of mounting system where they work just like on the car, each has a thin slot on 1 end where the glass slips in then on the other end a brace on each side with the holes drilled so the prongs on the side of the tops can be used to lock it right in place. Just my 0.2, havent had a ttop car in a while but when i did i just left em laying on the lawn.

You can build a box like I did for the lower portion of the well...depending on the amount of air your subs need...mine being .4 - .7....but I can still use my t-top bag with my setup.
