i got my berlinetta recently and it never really bugged me until now, but my cassette deck doesn't work. i have the 1985 crazy berlinetta dash with all the digital goodies, kinda ugly, but i like the funk.

anyways... i cant get the cassette thing to open up when i press the eject button, i'm supposing that its an electronic switch thingy thing. the bottom cassette symbols and stuff light up when i turn my lights on, but the upper radio part logos dont light up when i turn my lights on.

anybody understand what i'm talking about? its a dumb question i think, maybe i should replace the radio? ...but the radio is so kool with the car...

 

you have my car except its an 84 and my radio works but my tape deck doesn't. anyway i have heard that you can send it off to somewhere and get it fixed for probably $100. go to a local car stereo store and ask them thats all i know to tell ya.

 

Whatever you do, keep it! They look so neat, and futuristic... well, they did in the 80's at least
