I don't think one brand has a big advantage over the other (unless you are into competition, and then you'll be getting twisted super-sheilded cable) so I get mine off eBay, search for "Audiopipe". I have a 1000 Watt wiring kit for my amp (4 gauge) and 500 watt wiring kit for my subs (8 gauge) and each kit also comes with a ton of speaker wire, fuses and holders, etc. Not bad for $8-10.

800 watt? Made by who? If it says 800 watt on the case, it's probably not 800 watt. What's the size of the fuse on the amp?
It'd be better to buy your cables separately. Usually the "included" RCA patch cord that comes with amp kits is a cheap patch cord without much shielding. I always say to spend at least $30 retail (so on eBay it'd be cheaper) on your RCA cords... people disagree with me here
but you don't want a high-dollar system with noise from cheap patch cables.

For anyone in this board, WIRE IS WIRE. No one is pulling 300+ amps over a mile. Welding wire is ugly but cheap and works as well as anything you're going to need. If you would like fancy, by all means check E-Bay for the shiny stuff.

Good catch Tom. For clarification: 4 gage welding wire is good for power wire. RCA wires can be had cheap any number of places (Radio Shack, Wal-mart, CC, BBY, ...).
My point was that a "kit" is not needed, cheaper deals can be worked.

yup I'd just get the kit that came with nicely-insulated RCA's... not those regular patch cords that come on home-stereo stuff...
even though I have 4 sets of RCAs running to the back of my car... two highly insulated... two regular cords, and I can't tell the difference.
