Designing / Building / Installing a subwoofer box
My audio equipment all finally came in, so I just have to lay down the sound-deadener and carpet before I get to work with audio wiring. The setup will consist of Alpine 4x6's up front, 6x9's in back, and two Alpine 10" Type-R subwoofers in back being pushed by a JBL BP1200.1.
My main concern right now is how the sub box is going to look and function. I'm 99% sure I'm going to go with an enclosed box. I want something discreet- I don't want the box to come up too far. I'd still like to have SOME room in the back. It would be awesome if I could fabricate a cover for the subs so that you can't even see them unless the cover is up.
Anyways, does anyone have any ideas for box designs? It has to be for two 10" subs and I'd like the amp to be embedded between the two subs. Again, I'm going with a completely enclosed, non-ported design.
---
Also, on the noobie side of things, how would I go about getting my sub box to stay in the trunk? How does one go about "bolting it down" or just keeping the thing from being loose? I can't imagine how people do it. Do you use glue? Fill me in please!
Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

If you measure and build properly, the box will stay put on it's own. My boxes fit so snugly that when you try to wiggle them, the entire rear of the car rocks. If you want additional bracing incase of rollover accidents, you can attach a couple T-nuts to the inside bottom of the box and tighten bolts from underneath.
