Alpine Type-x

Im thinking about picking something up to replace my Alpine Type R's and ive been looking at the new type X. I would probably just run one for now but im just wondering if anyboyd had anything to say about them.

oh...i would stick with the type rs since you already have them. they are a great sub in my opinion.

my opinion is that they're overpriced, power hungry, mostly subsonic beasts with an unsightly trim and tacky CF cone and you'd be better off with the type-R or a nice eclipse or something.

I think that means 1 set of speakers and if he likes them, he will add another set in the rear. because he says "Im thinking about picking something up to replace my Alpine Type R's ", R being plural.
