Low Voltage

I have a voltage problem with my sub amp. Whenever my car is off and I turn up the voloume about half way my subs start to make a loud thump sound and the light on the amp start to flash. At first I tought it was a bad cap but even still does even without it. I have a powermaster 200 amp with a brand new yellow top battery. Everything is grounded and even sanded more than enough where the ground cable connects. Maybe you guys have some suggestions. My sub amp is a 1600 watt fosgate, 600 watt infinity and 600 watt kenwood for my mids. The alt. is about 2 yrs old so maybe I need a new one or stronger. Well thanks for your help.
