OOOPS! sorry about that guys. computer went on the fritz.
Anyway, i have two infinity basslinks, and an alpine amp. The problem that i am having is that i am having a hard time making it look pretty. right now i just have the amp mounted on the rear deck and the subs nestled on each side of the hump in the rear that covers the hatch lock motor. since they are the full enclosure with the amp inside i dont need to build a box. but i do need ideas with how to make it all look good. IDEAS PLEASE!!!

Two things: When you say that you mounted the amp to the top of the hump, how did you do it? If you used screws, realize that the gas tank resides directly under the hump. Most people use Velcro if they're going to have their amp(s) sitting there. I stuck a piece of 3/4" mdf under my carpet and screwed through the carpet into the wood.
I'm not sure what you can do to make the bass links look better aside from fabing some kind of cover.

Heh, yeah i did think of the whole gas tank thing, so i got some velcro just like everybody else. im not sure how to attach the pictures without using the attach file thing at the bottom here (they are too big for that) so ill just have to make you look at my site. im going to put them up right after i post this so hopefully they will be there by the time you guys look at this. the site is www.cardomain.com/id/357transam should be like the fourth page...

uhhh... i dont really know, i havent ever checked. I dont want to drill through the hump though. i would rather do something that wouldn't be permanent.

by"top part of the trunk" do u mean the top of the hump? if so, i think that is where the tank is, i might want to replace the screws with some velcro..

Ok so what about mounting the amp in between the subs with something? Like cutting some wood to fit between the subs, and covering it with something, then putting the amp there? I know that amps only work to their full potential when they have sufficient airflow to cool them down, so would the amp recieve less cool air between the subs? Also, the subs have dual cones (one through the top, one on the bottom). If i mounted the amp in between them, would it block some of the sound out?

I highly doubt it. But it looks pretty nice already. at least the wires are covered and under the carpet and everything. It looks like you took your time. Congrads
