Battery or Alt??? suggestions
Ok think i am finally narrowing down my problem....i thought the missing of my car was fuel pump related. Well after putting a new fuel pump in the car ran great...until i put my system back in. It then started to miss out and the subs would hit one second then just cut out after a while of driving sometimes hitting once again when turning a corner so i went and immediatley checked the ground at the amp and the ground at the battery. Looks good. I then disconected the positive cable on the battery then disconected some extra assesories and just had the amp power wire connected. The car doesnt miss anymore but after 5-10 minutes of the subs being on they will just cut out and the car will seem to loose some power. I dont know if it could be the altenator or the battery going out or just not enough power. I went and had the 2 checked out last week and they were good but that was without any accessories on. What could be some possibilites. I need any help or advice I can get.

I would sugest to upgrade your ground path
Most of the time the amps are grounded at the car chasis, and the car's stock ground path from battery to chasis it's not enugh for a high performance audio with lots of bass.
The path the ground follows from the battery is: Battery to block, and then from there, there is a small wire from the block to the car's firewall (too small).
What I did is connect a cable directly from the negative pole of the battery to the chasis, if you can't do that, go from the block to the chasis, just use a big enough cable, like a battery cable.
This is a very inexpensive upgrade, so before you go and spend $$ in other more expensive part, its a good idea to eliminate this posibility.
Good luck
