Aight that ****** does it !!!
I went to Kragen ... got myself another harness adapter ./. GUESS WHAT ?? .. Both packages . .the one bought today.. and the one I bought a while back have the same part number./.. SOMEONE had put the wrong one into the package I had originally bought (which was before I had looked at the wiring) ... AAAAARRRGGHHH !!!
Anyway .. guys.. this is not the end .... played with the installing process.. .ended up REUSING the old brackets ... and still not even any nice flush mounting inside ... and well... this I guess I'll have to fix though... it's a matter of it sticking out too much.... can't mount it really... the CD player hits something in the back
And now .. to end this ....THE CD PLAYER WILL NOT.. I REPEAT.. WILL NOT .. PLAY ANY CD'S !!!!!!
Yes I tried regular CD's ... the CD/DVD combo's .. and MP3 CD's ... hell it even ejects the CLEANING CD !!!!!
It's a **********blip***censored**blip**** JVC deck !
Radio and everything works just fine.... but the CD player does NOT work
So .. I wasted a lot of time ... could have installed the steering wheel.. and finished my TBI .... GRRRRR !!!!

Whiskey Hotel Alpha Tango? Yankee Oscar Uniform ---- Delta Oscar November Tango ---- Uniform November Delta Echo Romeo Sierra Tango Alpha November Delta ---- India Tango???
lol.
if you say them out loud, you'll realize that each word has a unique sound to it... so if you're doing radio commucations, theres less chance for error.
and if you're thinking " Oscar Mike Golf Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!? did he type all that?!" .... no... back in my freshman year of high school, i made this page: text converter pages
works OK for little stuff... obviously it can become long, quick.

if it costs more than $50... WHICH IT WILL ... it wouldn't be (read: ISN'T) worth getting fixed...
a several-year-old JVC deck is probably not worth it's weight in metal.
maybe cruise out to Wal-Mart and see what they have for under $100? that's my suggestion.

90 or less
Called an authorized JVC repair place .. they said .. "90 or less" ... when I STARTED to tell them (read started because I got interupted right away) they said once again.,.,.. "90 dollars or less"
Can someone send a damn sledgehammer this way so I can beat some sense into my wife's head since she believes a place like that will be so wonderful and just maybe charge me 50
Geeze.. it's like this ... you give them the player... they repair .. and AFTER that they will charge you...

Pioneer
And .. wife has a Pioneer DEH-P6400 .. with the nice blue animations ... but she prefers to keep it in her non-running SAAB (which I won't fix right now since the alternator is 250-330 dollars)
So ... maybe I should buy an identical one *smirk* a DEH-P6400
What would you guys recommend ? I would really like to have the blue animated background lol .. it would go VERY well with my paint (teal metallic .. like.. aqua) . .and blue LED switches inside (pretty soon)
Also ... planning on getting one on Ebay ... any good sources you guys would recommend ?
My other option would be .. the mexican swap meets here

You lose the warranty if you buy it off ebay
I'm sure people will chime in how they hate them, but get the $40 4-yr replacement plan from Bestbuy... if you use your deck a lot, it will definitely come in handy... my decks only last about a year for some reason, even though I never touch them once they're installed... I don't even tweak the amps... just bad luck...
