I was wondering where you guys are running the power wire through. Are you opening up a new whole or using an existing grommet? I opened up a new whole next to where all the wires go trough that whole in the passenger side.

That's were I ran my 4 gauge power through. Passanger side back firewall/floor board. Runs right down the side up the back behind the plastic and out under enclosure.

ON cars with a passenger side battery, I run all cables through the kick panel near the antenna hole. I find this to be by far the easiest location.
On cars with the battery on the driver side, I run it through a spot under the clutch master cylinder, or on automatics, the spot that would have been occupied by the clutch master cylinder.

I always cut a new hole. Anything bigger than 8 AWG isn't going to fit real well through any existing holes.
If you've got 8 gauge, you can easily poke a hole through the antenna grommet in the kick panel, or through pretty much any existing hole in the firewall. With 4 AWG and larger, you're better off with a new hole.
