i ordered new ports 2 days ago and they should be in tomorrow or the next day but i ordered 2 new 6 in ports and im goin to put them on the top of my box on each side of the amp but i will have to take the bowties
off and relocate those but no big deal, but i was wondering if that would be a great spot for them i could put them in another spot but i thought that would be the best spot on top of the box. plus its goin to be tuned to 35hz. here is my site if you want to see were i would be putting them 1991 Chevrolet Camaro - Josh's Chevrolet
and does any one know the frequency of the third gen camaro?

interesting design. but I gotta ask... do you really need 2 15's!! good god, I have a single 10 and that is plenty loud.

well yea i need 2 15's just becasue not a hole lot seems loud to me, and pluss a bunch people said i couldnt fit 2 15's in the back and have enough airspace so i had to proove them wrong but i got 6.6 cubes out of it. but im thinking about taking the piece were my 15's are and building a piece to fit 3 12's in there to see what it is like.

Wow, with a box that big it's going to be really easy to get the port to fit because it won't have to be very long (14” long for two 6” ports). The downside is that since the box is so big and you're tuning relatively high you're going to get a very large spike in output as compared to a modest bump from a smaller box/lower frequency.

(red = 35 Hz, green = 21 Hz as you can see by the picture. 20 Hz requires each port to be 24” long if you want to stick with your 6” ports)
As for swapping over to 3 12's, I don't see why you would want to. You're going to be losing a little bit of surface area so unless you're going to be swapping to higher excursion drivers you're going to be losing output. The w6 is known for it's ability to play accurate sound so I don't know why you would want to replace it from that point of view either. Upgrading to 3 comparable 12's would cost an arm and a leg.

well i allready have 2 jl w-6 12 and all i need to do is get another one but 2 15's = 30 in and 3 12's= 36in

well i got my ports in today and i put one in 6x6 in port i can telll a dif but lost a little low end think i might put both of them together to get a lower tuning.

3-12" subs = 339.12 square inches
2-15" subs = 353.25 square inches
