new system and pics!!
alrght i got this amp a couple of weeks ago b4 we went on the power tour and i hadnt got a chance to install it and look nice i had it just in there. well i made a piece of mdf to go under the carpet then i bolted the amp to it. i cut slits in the carpet to poke the wires through. i also had to run a phone cord and new remote wire b/c b4 i just used speaker wire and i dont think it was big enough. so i wired it up with 16 ga.
the amp is a profile 2000 watt amp it does 980 watts bridged. i have the gains only half way up and it pounds.
the subs are kicker cvr 10"s i got an awesome deal on them 130 shipped for the pair bnib. and they still have the warranty. these subs are usually at least 100 apiece.
the box i got from my uncle for free he has red interior plus he said he probably wouldnt ever use it.
the prior system in my car was a 10" infinity kappa and a sony 1200 watt amp. so this was a pretty good upgrade. here are the pics.

lmk what you think im pretty excited with how it came together i think it looks pretty good.

hey matt i can make a sig for you but it probably wont be the best/ as good as some of the photoshop guys can do, talk to spearson he is one of the best. i made the one that i have now in my sig. it turned out pretty good. but im not great at it. thanks for the compliments guys it took me about 5 hours to do. but hopefully now i wont make any more changes to the system.
sean i was thinking about selling the iroc not b/c i wanted to but b/c i want an old car... but i think i found a way to keep the iroc and get an old car. the old car that i found is a 63 bel air. very nice car for the price but it needs a whole lot of work.but luckily it doesnt need any replacement body panels just some minor bodywork. im trying to work out the deal now with the parents the big problem is space though. we have 7 cars and we have 5 garage spaces... so the iroc might have to start parking outside lol. but we will see what will happen ill let you and matt know if i get it or not.

If you screwed that amp to the floor, you may want to pull your gas tank down and check it for holes.
If you lucked out and didn't puncture your gas tank yet, you will if you get into an accident. Get rid of the screws and use velcro to hold the amp down.

Bah, nevermind. I just saw your other post.

haha I was just gonna say... he put MDF under the carpet! Which, BTW, I've never heard of doing. Very neat idea!
Setup looks great, nice and clean. I just hope you have some good tint on that back window so thieves don't think it's nice as well!

Looks good, I have those speakers but 12's and they pound better than anything I've had previously.I am using a 1,600 watt Lanzar though, who knows how much it actually puts out though.
