Best Way To Mount One 12" Sub?

I've been wanting to put a single 12" sub in my car, but I don't really know how I want it mounted. I was thinking maybe just using the old subenclosures.com design and cutting it in half. If anyone has any other ideas I'd love to hear them. Or if you have a single sub in your car I'd love to see some pics.

i'd try the standard box we use for the back, and cut the depth in half

then maybe hinge it for a small storage space beneath, or you could use the space for your amp
