Positive and Negative on Front Speakers?

I'm installing new 4x6's under my dash in my Firebird.

On the left side, there is a gray and pink wire connecting to the speaker and on the right a green and a green/white striped wire connecting to the speaker. Apart from labels "A" and "B" on the plug, there's no indication which is positive and negative. How would I go about figuring out or does anybody know for hooking up new 4x6's ?

After doing some research of my own, I've found that the wires labeled 'B' are positive, and 'A' are negative. I tested the speakers using the info I found in this article. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=67
