just got a jensen a600hlx 600 watts Amplifier for free the guy told me it works just need the wire kit dont no what one to pick will be hooking up 2 250 watt speakers and need some nfo on wireing it ty

 

ok you can probably go with 8 gauge wire id say, and is it a 4 channel amp? 2 channel? are the speakers subs? or just regular speakers? impendance?

ok well for subs you should have a monoblock amp.. but we need the impendance of the subs and what ohmage loads the amp is stable at.. going to guess your going to bridging the connections

 

why do you need a monoblock? aren't those made for one speaker, hence the name MONOblock???

 

Monoblock amps are normally Class D, single channel amps. Normally used for subs because they are more efficient.

It does not mean you are limited to 1 speaker.

To the OP: What type of subs are they? single voice coil 4 ohm? dual coil?

Once we know that, we can help you wire it up.

ok, i was mistaken... a custom place in town told me that monoblocks are only set up for one speaker, and that they wouldnt suggest running more. my apologies
