It looks like you moved them closer together?
Are they in a box with the proper air space for those speakers?
The pic is small so I can't tell what you did.

Re: Moved Subs
yes they have the proper air space what i did was cut out a nice piece of wood measured it across from rear 1/4 panel to the next then i cut it out. After that i cut to 10" holes out for my two 10" subs then put them in place but i didnt drill them down yet because i need to finish it up. and the space in the back is where the subs are. then im gonna do silicone around it to keep it all air tight.

Re: Moved Subs
well first of all the subs werent in a box and i would pretty much blow them because they would act as speakers kind of and idk i got this idead from a guy and i liked it tp put a panel across the back. but i might make like a custom thing on top to cover the subs up so i can put my t-tops back there without hitting the subs lol yeah im still keeping the insulation in the panels for better bass sound then hear it rattle and i dont want ppl to say lookat that **** i though it was a good idea until i got critisized on it so i changed it up lol.

Re: Moved Subs
do you plan on siliconing the paice of wood to the carpet, i hope not?? and are the subs going to be freeairing? well i see you wrote in the correct airspace so i assume they are in a sealed or ported box. looks 10000000 times better than your foam set up lol big improvement

Re: Moved Subs
lol nope i was gonna use that space of like a port for it but im gonna screw it down on the side. but im gonna silicone around the side of the wood pieces that the subs sit in tomorrow then ill goto the jy and get a nice piece of material to cover up the wood lol yeah after i though about it the foam did kind of look stupid but it was just an idea. but what if the air comes out of the space in front of the subs i should still get base right?

I'm not sure what the foam thing everyone is talking about is??
I think I missed that post maybe?
I'm still a little confused, are the subs mounted in a box or is that just a piece of wood the size of the storage area(baffle install)?
If it's a baffle/freeair, make sure your subs are designed for that type of install, otherwise you're going to blow them pretty easy.
A sealed or a properly ported box is going to sound better then a freeair/baffle type system.
When I first got into audio way back when, I had a baffle install. It sounded OK, but distorted easy. Then when I finally built my first box, I couldn't believe the difference in sound using the same speakers, and amp.
