Weird Radio Problem

I just got my 88 iroc. It has a power antenna. My problem is that sometimes it will only get 1 station and other times it will get all of them. It tends to loose the stations after i have driven it "spiritly." this is making me think something is loose. Where should i start to check, and has anyone had a similar problem?

Re: Weird Radio Problem

I would check the back of the radio where the antenna plugs in first; may be a loose or corroded connection. Wouldn't hurt to pull the passenger side kick panel to make sure all mounting screws and connectors are secure on the antenna motor/base while you're at it.
