new head unit, off an old one

Hey guys, then i got an 85 firebird it had a crappy Jensen cd615x, i don't know what type of adapter it uses , but i was wondering weather there was anyone who knew an an adapter from that to the new modern Pioneer deh-1200mp.

did the previous owner cut out the factory end? the correct way would have been to get an adapter to plug between the factory harness and aftermarket deck. jensen and pioneer use different connectors and are not interchangeable. any car audio shop should have the adapter you need to tie into the factory setup.
