Delco Radio Help

Hi,
I have satellite radio and I am using the cassette adapter instead of using the radio as a reciever. This just started, when I turn on the radio, it says cleaning head, then tape with arrow up then tape with arrow down and then is says tight tape and ejects. Anyone know of a cure or is the radio toast? Any input would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Dan
