Need help wiring up Pioneer GPS unit in 87 TA

I have a Pioneer Avic 1 unit and would like to hook this up in my car. I will be having dual amps and 6 speakers attached when this unit is running. My stk connector is shown and my unit has a blue connector to it. Is there some kind of adaptor to make this work together.

Thanks

someone completely hacked up your stock harness, so you'd be best to grab a harness end from a local junkyard and start from scratch. that way you can be sure that nothing is wired incorrectly and that you can change decks later down the road if you need to. from there, you can buy a factory harness adapter that will tie into the aftermarket radio's pigtail.

my TA's an 87 as well and I opted for a newer GM harness, like this:

in case you want to grab a stock deck replacement later, it opens up a wealth of newer units compared to the original design (which is here):

Did you get your harness from a wrecker?

yup, we've got a couple of pick your own junk yards around here, so I grabbed my last couple for under $5 each. there are a few companies out there who make a new repair harness like this too:

i prefer to start with stock harness, only so that you're not stuck with rewiring everything again if decide to buy a new deck. wire in a factory harness, get your adapter, and go from there.
