New Q-Logic Kick Panels Installed
Thought I would share a couple of pics of the Q-Logic kick panels I installed this week. I got the 5.25" set since I didn't want to lose any more foot space and yet have some nice sounding speakers and tweeters to compliment my stock GM Delco radio that came out of an 88 Camaro. Sounds really nice even for a stock radio, works for me.

They don't look to bad. Modernizes the look of the interior. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to do for front speakers. Do what you did or put them under the dash. I originally had the kick panel ones before I started gutting my car.

nice upgrade that should sound worlds better than factory. if you haven't yet, a bit of fiberglass or sound deadener is a good idea on the back to stiffen things up a bit

Nice! Where did you buy these and how did you wire them up? Did you just re-use the stock wiring?

Yea, just go to Q-Logic, as for wiring, I got new wire with my speakers that I bought from onlinecarstereo.com as a kit that had the tweeters and all necessary wire and hardware to install. The kit included an inline crossovers to make wiring very simple and I just disconnected the front speaker from the radio and ran the new wire and connected them, they really do sound great with the stock radio. Thanks for the compliments, I enjoy being able to listen to my radio without the bad sounding dash speakers.

I had the option to have these installed when Pioneer did my car on Power Tour, but chickened out. I was worried about the clutch pedal. The set up in your car looks nice! definetly worth thinking about.

Thanks for compliments, I don't know how much room you would have with the clutch pedal, it might be tight but then again, I would stay with the 5.25" instead of the 6.5" since those could possibly stick out further. I like the look and the it sure beats the old dash speakers.
