Speakers need replaced!!!
So I finally got my 86 z28 Camaro back on the road after almost 6 months of parts being thrown at her!!! I now want to replace her rear speakers since they don't currently work and haven't since I bought her a year ago, just wondering what are the best speakers to put into these beasts so I can fade my sound back to the rear so I don't blow the front speakers????
Re: Speakers need replaced!!!
Rockford Fosgate power series products are among the best on the market and you have a couple options for the rears you can use a traditional 6x9 or for added sound quality you can use Rockfords T1 power series 6.5 components they will come with a adapter plate that allows them to be mounted in the 6x9 hole. Either way as long as you don't distort the speakers you wont blow them on you head unit. I have T1 6x9s running on a Rockford t600-4 for the rears and it is loud and clear.

Re: Speakers need replaced!!!
So I finally got around to replacing my rear speakers this weekend and funny thing the reason the rear speakers didn't work is one they weren't wired properly and two they were fully stock originals!!!!!! Evan after rerunning wires they didn't work so I went ahead and replaced them, and it turns out my front speakers are fully stock originals as well so they are next to be replaced!!!!
