Subwoofer Boxes
Just finished my sub box from some plans I found on here a long time ago, and I did some modifications so you guys tell me what you think and post some of your own if you have them! Did anyone else need a capacitor for there stereo?

Re: Subwoofer Boxes
Takes up to much space IMO. I prefer something a little less and that could fit in the "cargo storage well". Good work though for what you did.

Ya I agree it I have no space for storage, but in the year I have had the car I never used the storage space once. So it works out I think.

I like that look! Very clean with the hidden wires. Now if you could only drop some CVR's in there...

I have the plans if you need some, and I would get new speakers but I don't think better speakers would help me these have a good pure boom. Never distort and can handle all I have put them through, and I have definitely put them through alot. I just really Need a better amp I was thinking Kenwood.

Re: Subwoofer Boxes
When I was installing my CVR's I was debating between either a Kenwood or Hifonics amp. I went with the Hifonics Brutus and I haven't regretted it for a second. Can listen to music at high volume for over 3 hours and the amp isn't even warm. Very impressed with it! Kenwood is also a very good amp though, I'm sure I would have like that one too.

Re: Subwoofer Boxes
Ya I had to add a capacitor to this system because even though I have a good battery it would draw so much power that it killed my car at a stop light one day. The capacitor the problem with drawing power.
