I am looking to put a new cd player in my 88 camaro in was wondering how the wiring works. Does the adapter i need for an aftermarket cd player have connecters at both ends or just one end and a bunch of wires on the other? I am curious because the adapters i have found have connectors at both ends and my bro thinks there should only be one at one end of the adapter

 

Your bro is correct. Only 1 plug on 1 end. I have never seen a double ended adapter harness. The other end of the adapter harness is bare wire ends to be wired to the bare wire ends of the harness that comes with the new stereo.
