Right now I've got a system with a bad amp. The amp powered 2 12s in a custom board and 6x9s in the sail panels. I'd like to simplify things by just getting a 10" powered sub in a small box. But, it would also be really cool if I could run my 6x9s off of it in stereo. So basically a powered sub that is also a 2 channel amp. Does anybody make something like that?

Well, it wouldn't be a bad idea if the device was designed to do it, but doing it some other way would.

 

you can get a four ch amp and a single ten(bridge the two into one) and build a box for the ten, would be better sounding and better for the amp heat and vibration wise.

 

That is plan B. Plan C is to do the powered sub and run the 6x9s off the HU.

 

all those things would work obviously but i think plan b would sound the best and be cheaper than plan c. dont think a is possible ive never seen any powered anything that came with extra channels
