Is there anybody that made a double din fit in a 3rd gen and made it look good or what i would like is a single din and a little storage tray underneath

Re: Double Din?

There is a company that makes a conversion.
http://shop.doubledmods.com/1982-199...aroDDbezel.htm

They are a little pricey, but I think it's the route I'm going to go.

Re: Double Din?

I personally haven't dealt with them so I pass no judgement but I've heard that doubled has drastically slowed production and that a few have been waiting quite a while for their bezels. If this is proven untrue I will happily edit this.

Just a friendly warning.

I hope that's not true, they were the only ones that made anything like this for our cars.

Re: Double Din?

They note on the comments that the order may take up to 8 weeks to ship because they build only by what has been ordered, might be the reason they take a while...

Dunno, but I think I will take a crack at a custom build! Looks awesome

Re: Double Din?

I ordered one from them a couple of weeks ago. They said it would take 2 months but since they're the only place that makes them I can wait. I plan on using it with a Pioneer AppRadio2 with my Galaxy S3 phone. Check this out:

My Bezel arrived yesterday. It looks perfect. It took 10 weeks but no one else makes them.

Looks good, can you post some pics once you have it installed?
I want to see how it looks along side the Original plastics in the car.

Is there any chance you could post some pics of it installed.

I'm trying to get some interest up for the group buy.
