I'm putting a rockford fosgate 800a2 (60a fuse) and a pioneer 4 channel amp(30a fuse) into my firebird with a rebuilt alternator and fairly old (3 years) battery...

Should I invest in a stinger battery/alternator combo pretty soon?

Also, has anyone *ACTUALLY HEARD* the qlogic box that is custom built for firebirds?? I can get it cheap but I'm going to have 2 12" JLw6's in there and don't want it blowing the box up..

Well, it all depends on how your current alt is. If you are barley making enough amps, adding the stereo will most likely cause a problem. Also, if you intend on playing your stereo very loud and alot of bass, you'd run into a problem with the rebuilt. Most likely, a problem will be most noticed sitting at idle. As for the battery, if you intend on playing your stereo while the car isnt running, i'd get a new one like an Optima.
