wiring 6x9's to amp with subs?....

Ok I gotta quick question. I have a kenwood head unit and sony xplods for the 6x9's (I know dont mock me out I got um cheap). Well for some reason they seem to be ALOT lower than my Polk 4x6's up front. Now I had these 4 same speakers in my other camaro with my amp hooked up to the 6x9's (there own amp) and I loved the way the 6x9's sounded. Now my question is, I have a rockford g250@2 old style amp and I have it running in stereo to my two MTX 10's. Can I just wire up the 6x9's to my amp which is already playing the subs? Would it make the amp overheat?? Would it rob ALOT of juice from the subs?? Or would it be ok? I just hate having to fade it to the rear of the car like by 4, rear over front just to have it sound equal in the car. Thanks for any responses!

well, first thing .. make sure you dont have the wires mixed up, that might make them sound lower.
2 .. it wont rob all the juice, but theres better things to do than just wire into the amp.
3 ... most people that are into car audio like the imaging to be towards the front of the car, and the subs fill in the bass in the rear.

You could use a tri-way crossover it sends 100hz and lower to subs and 100hz higer to your full ranges. Crutchfield has them and any good audio store should be able to get them too. Since its a crossover it won't fri your amp because of low impedence.
