Maybe. I need more detail. Are the subs single or double voice coil? What is the resistance of the voice coils? How many subs do you have?

You would need to make sure both subs are 4ohm subs......then if you wire them in parralel you'll get a 2ohm load out of it. If they are 8ohm woofers you'll produce a 4ohm load.

Find out info on your woofers first ;-)

Yea are they single or dual voice coil? What ohms are they? If you give a model number that would help.

Well, Orion's HCCA series can go down to one ohm mono pretty comfortably....

And don't forget that they can be wired for a four ohm load as well. But no two ohm option using regular parallel/series methods.

Actually the HCCA's are stable to 1/2 an ohm but you can fry an egg on it. They're not cheap amps by far but to me well worth the price. Like they stated if they are single 4ohm voice coils you can get a 2ohm load by running them in parallel. But if they're dual 4ohm voice coils 4ohms is as low as you'll get. If they are dual voice coil then I'd run the subs voice coils in parallel which will make each sub 2ohm and hook them up to the amp one on each channel. That would give you a 2ohm stereo load. First check the amp to make sure it can handle a 2ohm stereo load(most amps can but check to be sure).

No, no, no, silly.

He said they were 4 ohm, not that he had 4 of them.

How many do you have? Do tell.

It will help us help you,
AJ

Their official spec sheet says 1/2 ohm stereo, one ohm mono (bridged). Maybe they could hold 1/2 ohm mono for a little while but yeah, they'd certainly fry. At one ohm mono they're fairly stable. Takes some long usage before they get cooking.
