New to Car Audio: Will This Work?

I haven't really dealt with car audio before. I bought an 85 Camaro that the previous owner cut the radio out. I am going to have to solder extensions to the wires no matter what. Anyways, will this/these work? I am not looking for window shaking bass or anything. Just the ability to play music and maybe feel a little bit of it.

Here's what I found(I don't want to spend a ton of money on this):

Welcome to the site!

Yes it will work....for your Bass or Subs. You will need to build a enclosure for them in the rear. There are all kinds you can do. Check in the audio section here to get some ideas. You will also need some 6x9's in the sail and some 4x6's in the dash which you can run from the head unit's internal amp. You can also use some component speakers for front/rear as well, your choice there.
Also, go to Crutch field and use their "Outfit my Car" feature. It will tell you what fits and what doesn't.

Good luck

Thank you.
I have the plate that sits in the back for speakers. Will I need any adaptors to have the radio work with the stock antenna? I am seeing things about antenna adaptors and such. I am guessing that I will just have to directly wire the radio to the existing wires since the previous owner cut the harness off.

As far as the antennae goes, no. Should be a plug and play. Here is a wiring diagram, I believe it's from an 88 but should help determine what wires do what. Go from there

I'm not sure, but I don't think these subs were meant for a free-air type plate.
You will need to build an enclosure for them.

Otherwise you stand a good chance of them blowing pretty quick.

Like cdoyle said, you will need an enclosure for these subs.
You will need to have about 1.5 cubic ft of enclosure space for each of these subs.
