So to day I went out and bought A Fosgate 400w 12in sub.
I havent got the box yet, but im getting that tommorow.
Any way, how is that sub going to sound with that amp.

That sub should sound fine. I'm guessing it's a 400W Max sub right? If it's 400W RMS....then it might sound just OK...if not crappy. Usually Fosgate rates their amps MUCH lower in power than they actually put out.

Example...my 200a4 is rated at 50W per channel (4 channels), but if I drive all 4 channels at a 2ohm load....it pushes close to 600W ;-) hehehe

for some strange reason, i had a pioneer amp i bought on clearance as a temporary solution sound 1000 times better than i ever expected. People would ask to see the amp and i show them and they'd be like "THAT'S IT??!??" I found it amusing ..

Pioneer is actually good stuff, they've been in the industry a very long time. I've always used thier products.

I like Pioneer stuff also. I never had a Pioneer amp but i heard there subs before and they are decent subs. They hit tight and hard. (10" model, not the black pro series, the silver ones). I really like there headunits. They have nice features that i found that some headunits don't have like the Easy EQ.
