Crazy box idea...Need input
I have an idea for a box i want to construct for the rear hatch. I dont know if its doable or not and I dont want to get into a project that will sound crappy. Im gonna explain my plan as best I can. First I build a sealed box just a rectangle that fits in the well with either a 10 or 12 inch sub with the cone facing up. Then I put some supports along the edge of the box and put and screw a piece of plexi glass with holes drilled in it for protection. After all that is in place i mount a plate over it to neaten it up and give me an area to put the amp. The plate would only cover the sides of the hatch so you could see the sub under the plexi glass. Is this a decent idea and is it a resonable project for someone with no box building expierience.
Thanks

Go for it! What's the worst that's going to happen? If the plexi-glass cover kills the sound, then remove it, and let the woofer show through alone. Custome made easy!!
