Hi, I was wondering if anyone here would be able to tell me which 6 x 9" speakers fit our cars best? Specifically I am in reference to the fact that many of the 6 x 9 speakers that have two and three way sound systems tend to have the tweeters and midrange speakers sticking out further than the gasket surrounding the speaker. Does anyone know which speakers are designed specifically for our cars to have flush tweeters and midranges?

 

Alpine have a couple of good options for 6 * 9 and 4 * 6 speakers.

 

Any model numbers for the ones you are refering too?

I like my Polk Audio DB691 3-way 6x9's. I'm also running them on an amp and have Polk Audio 4x6 2-way dash speakers and JL 12" subs in the hatch.

 

I have the same Polk speakers in my IROC...very nice.

 

The new Alpine X-Series 6x9s are going to be so badass. They look really sharp and the output is expected to be as good as any. Really looking forward to them
