Speakers silent?

Hey all,

I have a Boss HU installed in my 89RS (without Bose). Today i replaced all four speakers with Pioneers. They worked for about ten minutes, but while I was adjusting loudness/bass, I heard static and all four speakers went silent. The head unit still shows it's outputting, but I'm getting nothing through the speakers. The harnesses looked fine and I didn't see any burned fuses. Anyone know what it might be?

Re: Speakers silent?

Check the Orange wire for power at all times and check the yellow wire for power when the key is turned; I'm guessing ground is probably OK because the radio seems to "turn on",... but might as well check ground too !

** BROWN wire = headlight input and GREY is for Back-lighting !

If the wiring is OK,..... then your problem has gotta' be somewhere in your aftermarket equipment.
