Legacy amps/subs??

Does anyone know anything about legacy amps and subs? Are they any good? Quality? How do they compare to others?

You get what you pay for. I installed on in my friends 01 Xtreme and it sounds pretty good its the 1000 watt one with 4 channels. I have it powering to Rockford 10 inch subs and it pounds decent, but its no comparison to the Rockford amp I installed in another friend of mines truck. For what there amps cost i'd say there decent. Dont know much about the subs though.

Most people say they are junk but sometimes you can get decent stuff out of those bargin brads. I had a boss amp that was pretty decent, sure it said it was like 1200 watts or something but It probobly made 300 , but it sounded decent.

Aura stuff is cheap and they make some good stuff also.

I personaly don't really like the legacy line of amps at all. the subs aren't really the best either, but there are ok if its the only thing you can afford. I definitly wouldn't get and amp htough.

I'm runnin a 800watt max legacy amp right now. Had it for about 6 months now and i have had no problems. Yes, they are cheap, but when your not lookin to spend a lot of money on a system then legacy is the way to go. You cant beat $80 for a 800watt max amp or $110 for a 1200watt max amp. Never tried their subs but i will say this, my sub hits harder with this amp then it ever did when i had my "NAME BRAND" amp. Thats just my opinion. www.millionbuy.com has some great deals on car audio, check it out.
